Art is always evolving, take this painting for instance. It started as a quick monster face doodle then I threw long legs on it then I threw it in a closet and then drew a quick silhouette opening the closet which quickly became my nephew Conrad. And viola! Now it's this crazy image and I'm pretty happy with the end result. Funny, you never know where a sketch will take you.

Today I was asked to Demo an image for the Halloween Horror Nights Press event, I had around 3 hours from start to completion. It was my first time drawing in front of a crowd and had to stop frequently for interviews so I'm pretty happy how it turned out.

Gillman!

Finally finishing up some paintings and got to my Monster Squad version of the Gillman on a hot date in the classic Universal Movie setting. Even got the crew of the Rita on the lookout.
